I'm getting confused DACE.

If you go last how can I mix it?

Also with synths you need to know what the guitars are doing......and we also have to fit Steve in somehow.

I need you to put a bass guitar line in definitely.......its part of the foundation of the track.

I can take the simple drums out and build a percussion track around the bassline.

My synths are not a problem as they will only be ambient parts rather than lead parts so they will just float around the guitar lines without affecting them.

Its fitting Steve in that may be the biggest problem so maybe it would work better if you can work with Steve to get his part added and then build your guitars around it.

By the time I get the track it should be nearly ready to mix.

The way I see it I could then build the drum track and add some ambient synths and it would be ready for me to start looking at doing a creative mix on all of the parts.

Please bear in mind that I am shooting in the dark totally as I have heard nothing at this point and will have to start from scratch. I'm up for the challenge.....it should be interesting.

Nah Peter..At ANY faze of it i can add a part and send just that part for you to add in...When you save ACID files, they go all the way across the tune,(timeline), will be right where i played them, and you can edit them how you like also.

I can play one note in the middle...the file go's all the way across the time line, the note is where it was played. You just write it across.

So, no matter where we are at with it, parts can be put in there mate.
I will but bass thru-out for you..

But guitars (lead) i dont know about without the whole tune.

So is this how we proceed ???

You will put bass on and when it is ready (without lead guitars) you will send to me .

I will add drums and some synth and send to Steve.

Steve adds his synth and sends to me for tidying up and then I send back to you.

You add lead guitars and send back to me for final mix and mastering.

Is that what you want to do?

As long as we have a plan its OK with me.....I'll work around it. Smile

I'm OK with that guys. I was thinking of just a few FX here and there, nothing too fancy Smile

Peter...Understand.."plans" dont work for me..They just fall apart...Only "plan" i have right now is getting a mic-cord so i can do the vocals again, and try all 3 mics i have.
(Monday im getting a cord)
I will get bass on it....send to steve and mix him in there. I get the vocals right, ill send to you ALL tracks.....You get it done, you send me te track for lead adding, ill send back just my lead for you mix in as you like.

Thats as "plany" as i can get.... Laughing
Im prob spending to much time on the vocals, but i want to.
Guitars?? i dont "have" to even do any really. But i will if you guys want..Or Z, or you can.

OK DACE.......I get it.

I'll just wait until you tell me its ready and do whatever is necessary.

If Z wants to add some guitar then fine.....or I can add some....I'm OK with it.

However you want to do it Smile
