Z has sent me the Lyrics..Have those.
Z has sent, (WAV) files, Clean guitar, Bass, Drums.
And he has the layout of the tune setup real nice.
He send me a file of talking about the layout.
I have them headed to the studio to get in my SW.
I get my guitar tomarow.
I will get the vocal work dont first, then add my guitar parts.
Then get Z to do some backup vocals with mine, and some lead adds or fills.
Then our parts will be done.
Might be a few weeks, then i will work getting it all to Peter.
Then him and steve can do there thing..Smile
Z has us a great tune foundation built. Super lyric.
Up to me know.

Yes...my part will take time, as yours will.

SO...we can upload WAV private on the cloud? and one can DL the WAV?
Then can be deleted....???

It might be best to send you tracks one at a time as we get them, instead of all those tracks at once????

Then you can getting started ahead of time on some stuff???

Or you want to try the ACID file way, or both????

I would like to go with the ACID file method DACE.

This will give me synchronisation of all the parts which is most important to me for getting the project into my system.

If the ACID method fails then we can always fall back on other ways of doing it....but we will get it done one way or another Smile

Really there's no way that I can get ahead in advance ............I need to just wait until you and z have finished as far as you can go and then I will get with Steve and work from there.

It's a big project....but its gonna be so cool Cool Cool Cool

Should be OK Steve.
If you read what DACE has said it will be awhile yet before it comes my way.

If we have to wait a bit longer to add you in then we will wait as there is no set timescale.....just eager anticipation LOL

It'll be about a week before I can get the new drive sorted (that's the easy bit!) Re-installing everything on to it will a while longer. Music related stuff shouldn't take too long, but graphics software will take many months as every 3D prop and object has it's own installer and I have thousands to re -install!!! Good excuse for a big clear-out and not install all the crap I've gathered over the last 5 years Smile

Music software will only take a couple of hours to sort out (I don't have much) and I should be able to get a basic graphics set up done in a week by only installing what I need to finish Dace's new album.

Worked on the vocals some more last night. In a few weeks im getting some Mic-cords so i can try some other mics out.
Have not done guitars on it yet. Waiting to get the vocals done.
There are spots in it for Synths, not sure if we want guitar there??? If so, have to do those last. So im not sure about when to add my guitars???

DACE I understand the problem.

As I will be mixing from seperate tracks I can fade guitars down to bring some synth into the mix.
Another idea would be for you to do an alternative mix so that there are two files....one with maximum guitars and one with minimum guitars.

How would you like to do it?

Yes, you will just need to put the track together how you feel best.

On the ACID file sending, from what iv found is, ill have to send the File-with the tracks in the same zipped folder...Because they wont be supported in ya PC, because there not on your PC...Not a prob, i have tested it...It "might" open that way asis,)Since they will then be supported-files)?? or you might have to import them back in, but no prob,,,Just write them across and it will be as i sent it. Then you can edit how you want.

I did--very simple--bass under the guitar for the places where vocals will probably go and left gaps for the breaks and intro/outro.
But now that Dace HAS a Bass.... Very Happy

Theres breaks where is just drums Peter...You can put bass there if you want. Or i can, but hell, i got enuff on my hands with it right now. Cant even think about guitar yet, and i dont know if i will be able to put any on it without the whole track done???
With guitars, i need the whole vibe to hear what to play, so??? Maybe i should go last?????
