Bard of Ely asked me to spruce up his tune

A bit of a challenge since it was strickly a dub job. Steve has no way to record vocals at this time and the recording wasn't done to a click and so wasn't the steadiest. I mixed in some Kalimba, Xylophone, Bass, Snare, Cymbal, Cello and Nylon stringed guitar. I think it turned out ok :

Reverbnation players have NEVER worked for me...Just wont play..Tried everything over 4 years to get them to work. Let me know if theres another way to hear it Ed.

That's weird, Dace. But then I've had simular problems with other sites players as well. I'm not a member of reberbnation having always resisted it. For a time, it was really popular on FB but then I think soundcloud usurped it. If Steve puts it on another site, I'll post.

Yep...Soundcloud is great..I just use it to host my tunes, dont use the "site" yet, tho i am looking into doing that.

Anyway..Peter brought Soundcloud to us here and we all just got on it to post here really...Then i found it so easy to use i started hosting with it on FB...I think I was one of the first to use it on FB, and Z....Never saw it on there, then everyone started useing it.

Peter may have helped SC out in that by finding the site and bringing it in here to FOS.

I remember BRAD from soundclick, and myspace years ago. Dont recall his music or style tho....

I had a look at Soundcloud and it is a bit unprepossessing as they say down my local boozer. Surely it is just a big repository (or should that be suppository? lol) for files. Even my favourite Mixposure has gone a bit tepid and Soundclick is/was always just cold and The 61 is just baffling. What's to do?

Yep....And on Facebook if you post your tunes, nothing, but if you post Mainstream CRAP it get LOADS of attention....

I dont do much music now days because theres very little interest in it.

FOS is about all the feedback i get...But there are SO few here, and we seem to be on-and-off here.

Its been going on for about 4 years now...Slowly, everything is going away.

Anyway....Whatever, im just hanging around for some reason. Good friends here, and there, add-up i think.

Our main 2 guys here are MIA..Peter and Z......But Steve has been hanging in with me, and Ed has started to stop in more....Rick reads most but will post if he has thoughts. Ginn stops in, and others, but Z and Peter not being around pretty much make for no action here.

They both have there reasons for not being here, just busy doing other thing due to the lack of interest......

FTL, Soundcloud is great for sharing tunes on as you can make them available to just the people you want to have them, so great for collabs.

Yeah, I've got to register on soundcloud I think. For exactly the reasons you mention. I'll have a look at SoundAwesome.
