Great song Z....

I like it when you make tracks like this in your own individual creative style because I'm not tempted to compare it to anybody else and that makes it easier to focus. It also is a better way of using your strong points and allows you to be as creative as you want.

This track is a super example of what I'm talking about.....everything works on it.

Great lyrics and vocals.....guitars sound great panning across the track giving depth.
Drums are not overstated but providing what's neccessary in a downtempo style.

The keys are simple but very effective and were a good add.

A fine example of being bold and playing as much live as you can using only programmed drums.

Excellent work Z....the track also has a great atmosphere too....I could imagine this being used in a movie or TV show with a dark theme...like a stalker movie

Z....Peter most ALL times gets a listen "right". Peter knows how to "listen" to music.
Not only that, he knows how to put into words what he hears, and thinks of it.

Then here I set....With feelings from it NO words i know, or how to use will come near what i feel. And it comes from "listening" also. Maybe i understand Peters words on music more than most??? Theres "feelings" in Peters words ALLWAYS!, and his music ofcourse.

HOW can a song like this NOT be GREAT!???, when it comes from thought for another.

All the songs, all the songs.......Only a handfull of friends, but a MASS of people that NEED to hear these songs! Online there doing things, off they will listen...In the Car, in the shop, they will listen.

IF they were just "songs", would NOT matter they were heard.. there MORE than "songs". PEOPLE "need" to hear this. Theres a "reason" for this music we make..

Its the FRIENDSHIP and thought for others we WANT them to hear...Because that will help them, us, and the music we make together.

Can we call this SOLO Z??? Solo DACE??...not really, not when its done like this.

My VERY best tunes are done with the love i give my friends....That i care SO much about them, Art is the ONLY expression.

I know ONE thing FOR SURE! Z and I love each other just like Brothers!
And thats where this song comes from.

Z is NOT affraid to show emotions, and realness. Its the LEAST he could do for people.

The drums were primarily designed to be simple and stay out of the way.
Glad you like the keys. I used MIDI from my K4 into a Moog set to K.U. Or888.

Finding listeners......always a problem......finding real listeners who totally understand....now that is a real problem

In 12 hours, on one site, i got 6 people that want my music sent to them.
Thats not bad...Along for the ride, an AFR promo-sheet, and card..

Not only that..I GOT THE MAILING ADDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worth a TON so i hear...

It's not the music!

I think it's 4 things:

1. People today think that "music should be free."
2. People today want "stuff" that sounds just like other "stuff", so they don't have to think
3A. People today don't go on the web looking for music, they use portable devices (iPods and phones) to find it.
3B. People without iPods and phones only hear what's on the radio.
4. People listen to what the media tells them to listen to.

Not the music.

Online is where you find people to send your music for it to be heard.
Selling it will come along with this as time go's on.

MY Main concern is getting people my music..And being able to send them some more every month with info on what im doing with music. AFR, ect....Band...Collabs....

Online is just a network...It is connected to getting your music to THE PEOPLE.
You will get "heard" OFFLINE way more than online. You must have both to get heard. You have to want your music in peoples hands.

Its not one way, or another, or my way or yours, its THE way because you get your music heard by handing it to them. And you keep sending stuff.

We need to take our ONline network, and build it into "real-world" networking.
The main thing is to get mailing addies, and send info....and a few tunes.
10 out of 10 times, when a friend sends you something in the mail..YOU READ IT, or listen...Thats pretty good right??? From ONline, to OFF, and back again.
Make a REAL connection with people that might REALLY enjoy your music!!!

Ask Rick how it felt to get CDs from me...Ask ME how it feels to get mail from Z...Its the BEST!....And ATTENTION is give'n to it. EVERY TIME...

Online to off, and back again...Must have the two. The "back again" faze is where you get back in many ways for what you did for them, yourself, and your music.

TO THIS DAY...Direct Mail, is THE BEST way to reach people.
And we now have online to give us a way to DM very easy.

This song's a masterpiece Z!!! I just love the guitars! They're subtle and down in the mix but the creat such a fantastic chilled atmosphere. I think If I was a guitarist I would be making the same sounds as you in this one. Sort of minimalist but spacey!
Vocals, for me, are your best yet I think! Love the spoken style, it realy fits with the music well!

i wish i can listen, but this pc won't let me stream anything but lo-fi! though it takes forever to load! i may aswell go back to stone age dial-up lol. can anyone help, i've tryed everything! isn't there a way for someone to get on my desk top thru a messenger and fix it? i'd trust any of you guys! i miss youtube...and MUSIC!
