I need to do almost 1,700 words a day to make it to 50,000 by the end of the month.

It's been quite a trip so far. I think I wrote the first 40,000 back around 2002 or 2003.
And those 40,000 took me about 3 months...

Then I took 6 years off. Dusted it off last year to remember where I left off.

Might as well finish the damn thing. It's a good story.

It will interrupt my recording time, but only for a month. I can write 1,000 words in a little over an hour.
So, about 90 minutes a day should be close.

Very true. "The Battle Of Ashari Falls" would be real intense.

Done more than 7,000 words in the first week. If I do another 2,000 today I'll be pretty
close to where I should be for the month.

Story is going well. TONS of action. And I know what's going to happen--pretty much--for at least
another 10,000 words.

Yep. I should be picking up the pace soon.
I know what will happen all the way to the end, and there is a huge
battle that will be fun to write.

I might finish in less than 50,000, but that's ok. NaNoWriMo isn't as important
as just finishing the damn thing!

Well, finish it you did Z! and a damn good yarn it is too!! So good in fact that I want a sequal!! The way you left the story just screams for a new adventure to begin!! Awesome!
