Well it works for me Smile

Smooth jazzy flow with syncopated drums. Solid bass holding it all together and delicious guitars.
The compressed lead is great on here and you worked it superbly. I like the little finger slides that you used occassionally......adds a little something extra and a nice jazzy touch.

Great use of gear and sounds and a very clear mix too

Peter..it may not seem like alot..Buts its VERY complex in arrangment, tone sfiting, blending of over dubs, and theres 7 guitar tracks in it, use of octave cords, slids, compressed single notes, sutained notes, ringing cords-not comped..And there ALOT of cut and paisting, reagranging, and it a masterful use of ALL things i know on the guitar, and use of gear, FX, software..Key changing in the leadlines, harmonic, and off time stuff.VERY COMPLEX..tho it does not sound that really. Its preety masterful for me. I did things i have never done it this and pushed some things i do. Its A Monster-Mix of alot of things i know about guitar.
I moved forward here with the guitar playing. The bass is also very complex in its shifting lines, and keys. About 9 lines make up the bass part. Played in 3 different tracks and tones. Prodcution is very forward for guitar music. The cool thing is, it sounds rather simple..Very much NOT simple. Break-thru for me.

You did a good job DACE. Thanks for explaining the arrangement.....it does sound really complex Smile

You wouldn't know that from listening.....as you said it sounds simple .....but now I see what you mean.
Its strange how tracks often can decieve you ............sometimes just a few parts can sound really complex........and sometimes lots of parts can go into something that doesn't sound complex.

Its all down to how you use the parts and how you mix them .......which just shows how well you got this one together. Smile

Listening now....

Wow, masterful mix. Big sound.
Love all the slides, and the clean compressed guitar style. Nice fat and TONE.

This reminds me of Satriani in a way. Would fit right in with Not Of This Earth.

Nice choice of percussion. The 2/4 snare sound is perfect for this.

Really really love this one.
Complex like an interlocking puzzle.

cheers cheers cheers

I'm part way done with some, but have a lot of wires to hook up before I can finish.
