New controller
Thinking about buying a new midi controller. My Korg nanoKEY is nice, compact and functional, but I think I could achieve much more with a real 3 octave keyboard with pitchbend and mod wheels instead of buttons.
It just so happens that Korg have just the keyboard I want! It's the microKEY, and I've seen it for around £65 so it won't break the bank!

Re: New controller
Very cool!
I am probably going to pick up a Tascam Digital 8 Track recorder tonight.
I haven't been able to record since I gave myt wife my old computer since the interface is different
on my new one. So I might try using a digital 8 to record and then do mastering and mixing on my computer.
Trying to simplify things a bit.

Is that the Tascam DP-008 Digital Recorder Pocketstudio? Nice bit of kit, Z!! New or used?
Re: New controller
Yeah that's the one. They are really small.
I got it new / on sale... only a bit more than the USB interface I would need (M-Audio)
to hook to my computer.
That will be my music purchase for the summer. Now, onto recording!

Demo is up!
Argon won't be a huge departure from my current bands.
Somewhere in between Skin Deep and Gotham Steel I think.
Still working out the details.
I think it will be more bluesy and a bit less heavy than Gotham.
A lot of it depends on where I go with the drums.
