i've been working on this one for the past few days, and i think it's about done...but, who knows if i'll change anything within the next few days . i want to sing this song in a upbeat and sarcastically happy way, just to show how these topics aren't as important to some as fashion and entertainment is.

Super lyrics Ginn "No More Honey" reminds a little of Chris Rea's "Road to Hell" (same sentiment) Cool

Sex Sells! Yup! it sure does!!
As an artist, I know only too well that if I tick the nudity box my image will have 10 times as many people looking at it!!
Musicly, most of the RnB artists these days are all tits and bling! (and no musical tallent at all!!!)

Both very cleverly written lyrics, G. Love the Sex Cells play on words as well as the strong environmental message of the first.

the industry takes women and makes them into objects. women are beautiful, but i think hollywood is over doing it with the sexy. every song a female pop artist does now involves it...but look at beautiful ADELE. she is sexy too, but doesn't need to take it off, because she can actually sing. she prob writes her own songs too. and i am a fan of lady gaga, but what is up with advertising plentyoffish.com and food products in her and other pop videos? that's really selling out!! they mentioned a female pop singer being advant guard...but i don't get it, waring other people's fashion, using another's lyrics and singing about the same stuff over and over again. meanwhile, jo and i aren't selling much of our albums. and i thought we were original, with silly songs haha. silly doesn't sell, i guess.

I agree about the marketing. It's all very scientific.

I see it in fiction too. If you write any sort of romance novel, sales go up dramatically
if you have man titty (shirtless guy) on the cover. That is target marketing right at
female readers.

I'm sure it works both ways. Sex does sell. It's a billion dollar industry to say the least.

thanks for checking them out, Z! glad you like them! jo and i will work on sex cells lol. i can't wait to start on it...when he has free time. so not sure when, as of yet.

i think the idea of romance with an attractive man is what might draw in women readers...not really the visual of the man. but i can only speak for myself. i can look at another woman and think, wow! she is pretty! but i don't look at men(usually) and think, wow! he looks hot! there are exceptions(if i know them or their personality first). i have to know a man before i decide if i am attracted or not. but that's just me...i was never boy crazy, though i adore the big smile of a charming man...that brings me in over anything else, i'd say and attractiveness helps but personality takes the cake. women are complex like that...though i'm sure some men are just as fussy.

Just read through these gin.. and they are wonderful so well written and thought out and for the most part, i agree with you on these!
