Re: Could use some stars votes whatever
You guys must be helping cause I got a tweet from the station manager today saying he wanted to add all the tracks from "Isms" to his station. Which is pretty damn cool actually.
So thanks everyone!

Thanks mate, I wish I could clone you. I'd have 200 votes and a bunch of cool art
Re: Could use some stars votes whatever
101 votes, and if you ever need any cool art for anything I'll be happy to do some for you

Cool, it wasn't even me lol. Appreciate the offer for art work. I'm currently getting my 1994 book on the didjeridu up to snuff to self publish as an ebook. I don't have a clue what the cover should look like, but it's title is "Learn to Play the Didjeridu." According to smash words, a book needs an attractive cover to be featured on their website and to be picked up by their resellers like Amazon and so on. Any thoughts for a cover of such a nonfiction book? I know nonfiction probably doesn't excite the artist in you - especially what is essentially an instruction manual/tutorial. But I'm open to an abstract interpretation of it.

A "how to" book usually has a simple cover with maybe a photograph of what's being taught. An abstract of this would be a fun thing to try. Let me make some examples to show you how it might work.
What's your timeline? Are you in a rush?

I am in no rush. Well, I am trying to get it done, but the document is about 13 years old and passed through many word processors so there is THAT plus I want to add a few sections that weren't in the original 36 pages, try to obtain permissions to include some of the many interviews I've done...perhaps even try to find someone to write a forward for it. So in reality if I have it ready by this fall I'll be doing good.

Ed, I've got an image made which may or may not make a good book cover. It's a bit abstract but it does feature a number of didgeridoos (which I had to model and texture myself) Not sure about the texturing, might have to work on that.
I'll e-mail you the image so you can check it out.
