What you see by FUNGUS/DACE

About 50 hours of playing over the last month i try'd to inject in this track.

I have been playing and not recording of late.
Working with country-licks, and slow bends, and some picking things.

I just wanted to see if any of it sounded cool, so i recorded this thing.

Im really not sure my music is for others to hear? One would have to be ME to even understand whats happening with it. Its a personal thing that i might not should share.

But i dont give a fuck really at this piont..Iv been jammimg...Here some sounds.

Listening....

It's good to just play sometimes. I mostly don't ever play if I'm not recording, but I should.

the whispers add a nice mood.
guitars have a real nice flow. I like the contrast in tones and reverbs.
using your voice as an instrument here. very cool.

I like the real jazzy drums. they sound real wide in stereo. properly mic-ed from side to side.

5 guitars? Sounds real twisting around and around, like a rope.

lovely tone and strong fingers. very aggressive and confident.
the part around 3 minutes is real amazing.

vocals start to get more discordant as it goes. like a dream.

damn this is amazing work D. very very impressive.

your flow is way way up there. somewhere in the clouds.

I have listened to this track several times now ....

The playing is without any doubt superb and the mix is also fine....but....and I have to be honest....I just cannot get into this track. For me it is far too busy and I find it confusing to listen to.

It's probably just a question of personal taste.....I do tend to like to use space in music and I like to hear a track breathe.

Sometimes less is more.

Hope you're Ok with that but I would rather be honest about it

Peter, its just a bunch of jamming....But its more how my misic should be really. If its thought of as wrong, or confusing, or busy, its what i should do. Im not wanting to be "standard" or an "easy" listen..I lost that over time.

You will really NOT like my Roland-tracks then...

Really.....Im GLAD of how you heard this...Even if you did not like it much..Its what i want ALL my songs to be like....Wont get many Fans that why, but ill stand out, WAY out from others..GOOD thing what you say. And thanks brother.

Its just a bunch of crap sounds, like all my music is and has been since i started. Liked or not, just "silly crap sounds" IS what i "do".

It bugs me my music sounds like "songs" most times. I want people to say, "this suck", its "all-wrong", ect..THEN im where (I) want to be.

Busy it (good) then...(for me)....I will make them "busy" as i can from here on out.

Feedback really helps when its truth, and wanted..I DO want it, but not how others do..

Im glad i recorded this and uploaded it now..im getting there.

Listeners vary. I like the ebb and flow of how you interlace all the parts.
It's good that you hold true to your vision of your sound. That is important.

I also agree that it's VERY COOL that everyone here can speak their mind.
Peter has a hell of an ear, and that helps a lot.
It's good to hear different viewpoints.
