India problems
Tough week up here.... the offshore people are stuck on a bunch of problems.
And the only way I can help them effectively is to stay up half the night (they are 10 hours ahead,
so they are just getting to work at 11PM my time).
So, now I start work at 7AM, work all day, then call India at 11PM and help them until 2AM.
So, if I don't make sense, or don't show up here, that's why....
What a drag...

How can you be expected to think out their problems clearly working those hours ????
Management are so stupid ......you should have daytime off to compensate so that you work a relatively normal shift timewise but at a different time of day.
Alternatively they should send you or somebody out there to sort the problems out.
Its always down to poor management at the end of the day......its just as bad in the Uk...maybe worse
Re: India problems
Yeah. It's a management problem.
They only see the bottom line.
So they think cheaper workers are better.
And by the time the project fails, the manager is already in another department or company, so they don't care.
Oh well, at least I'm getting paid....
Just need a nap.

That it does!
Nothing like beating the skins to work out some aggression.
