How's the new direction coming along Peter?

Don't want to rush you.... but eager to hear some...

I'm going to do something a bit more cohesive soon....
Now that the novel's done, I should be able to spend a little more time recording.

Still working on it Z

At the moment I am not totally clear on which direction to take but it looks like I will start soon on some more Darkstarcruiser tracks as there is a lot of activity over at Soundawesome that has got me interested again.
Also it fits my plan to integrate synths and guitars together.

One thing I was thinking of though was doing a collab with you because we have never done one.

Any thoughts on that?

The DarkStarCruiser stuff is a great sound. Guitars and synths make a nice blend.
And you a quite a guitar player. Those tracks blew me away.

Would love to collaborate on something.... not sure what.
I would think you should do the percussion for sure. You are far far better at it.
And the keys of course.
Maybe something in Dorian? psychedelic or space guitar oriented?

If you work up a partial track, let me know and we'll see what happens...

I was thinking the other way round

I thought that if you wrote a song and did the percussion, bass , Rhythm guitar or riff and the vocals then I could do lead guitar and/or synths.

You could leave the spaces for me to fill.

All I would need then would be your track with the tempo and key.

If you wanted you could do a basic percussion and I could add some extra to that.

Would depend on your song whatever I do to it......but it would be like your song with me guesting on it.

No hurry.....what do you think?

I'll whip together a medium speed bluesy rock thing and you can do lead, more percussion and synth!
I'll leave lots of places for you to go wild.
