Follow Me In Dreams
I'm outta control.....
no newsflash there...
Wanted to try using the SG on rhythm through the Line6
And the Ibanez Xiphos on lead through the Marshall
Indian drums in this.
Sounds pretty good, but I need to turn thr gain down more on the line6. These pickups are super hot.
Follow Me In Dreams
follow me in dreams
nothing's what it seems
when you wake up deep inside here
you'll know what I mean
follow me in dreams
nothing's what it seems
better bring a weapon baby
everything's got teeth
better come with me
love will set you free
even if you die in here
you will die with me

Strange one this Z
I think the song is Ok and the vocals are fine.
Guitars.....I would have rather have heard the SG doing rhythm through the Marshall and the Xiphos doing a creamy lead through the Line 6.
Maybe you need more time fiding the right settings for the SG with your equipment....those PU's are going to need different settings to your other guitars for sure.
Not too sure about those Indian drums unless you were deliberately aiming for a tribal beat
Actually they sound more Native American Indian than Eastern Indian to me.....Indian percussion has a very recognisable sound once you get used to it.....tablas have a ring to them and the low tablas have a whooping sound (best I can describe it)
Those are my thoughts ....just my opinion Z Hope it helps.

Yeah, I will have to re-dial in the amp settings for sure. I will have to try a bunch of different combinations.
I think you're right that the SG will sound better (even on rhythm) through the Marshall.
I know what you mean by the whooping sound. I think they call those 'talking drums'? They have a piece of rubber
or something on the head and they make that sound with the heel of the hand.
The loops just say "Indian" on them. Not sure what actual drums are being used.
Just messing about... as usual. I was kind of going for a tribal sound. I need to find me some Kodo drums too...
Thanks for listening!

Thanks. I updated the mix a couple times. Guitar still sounds gnarly.
Not super happy with the mix, but that's the way it's going on Hell's Gate....
