Heavy jam

Have a cold, so my voice is all screwed up.... kind of works for this...

X -- Rhythm
Strat -- Lead

Used some lessons in this one:

Drum fills -- Peter
Use voice differently / Mantra / less words (single tracked through distortion and tape delay) -- Dace

I should have used a couple of different drum runs, but it's a good start.
Strat is sounding KICK ASS.
Wanted to do some finger tapping, but when I listened this morning the lead breaks sounded ok.

Heavy riffin' .....this is Punk Metal...an ear bending fusion of fast heavy power riffs, pounding drums and a voice that sounds like you drink Jack Daniels for breakfast.
The beat is really Punk style ....I could imagine them going wild in the mosh pit.
Superb Raw edge music played in your own unique style.

Yes.....an alternative fill in places would probably have improved it but as it is a Punk thrash beat you can get away without it on this track
Like the fact that you used your altered vocal state to make a one off track.....it works fine.

Finger Tapping.......not heard any of us here use that technique before except for Paul Oakley. Fast pulloffs but not tapping.

Unless you can really do it well I wouldn't use it......its something that I avoid because it doesn't work for me.

Tapping also sounds very cliched as it really has been done to death by teenage Metal wannabes.

The Strat does sound cool.....I've heard Motorhead use a Strat lead with a similar sound on some of their earlier tracks.

not far off... LOL. I have a cold and went out for beers, then ended up at a friend's house drinking shots of some strange
green Italian liquor while watching some crazy Blacksploitation film. So I woke up with "low voice." Probably mostly a dehydration
thing....

The Strat is just through the Marshall on OD2 with "Church" reverb on it.

Been to Italy a couple of times and the strange green shots may well have been Liquer Strega which is rather lethal particularly with beer.

NICE Heavy tune, with driving beat, great lowend guitars, and VERY cool vocals! Love the rolls in this.

For me, Vocals are the star, because there done as a proformance, not as a "vocal"...
Some gut-screams would be great in this Z.

Can ya hear how the vocals are "making" the tune?

I'm getting there with the *attitude* on the vocals.
Still have some work to do, but starting to just get in the zone instead of trying to "sing."

Green Chartreuse........yes..there's also a Golden Chartreuse.

110 proof is 55% Alchohol by volume...........very strong. I have drunk it in my mispent youth
