OK...The way i adjust a guitar neck, string action, tension.

On this Lotus its a SLOW process because the guitar had NO tention on the neck for MOUNTHS...This is NOT good for a neck. It takes awhile to get the neck bowed back right for string-tention.

SO....First, ALLWAYS put the gauge strings you are going to stay with on the guitar.
Then tune it the tuning it will stay at.
Play it Alot with NO amp...Then with an Amp also. Because some of the slight buzzes with out an amp wont pick up useing one.

Theres 3 ways you need or can adjust. The truss-rod, the Bridge, the saddles.
I start first looking at the bow or relef of the neck. It should dip down some and have a slight bow, not straigt....But not much down-bow, just a tad.

FEAR NOT THE TRUSS ROD..Its your BEST adjuster.

I bring the bridge up before the saddles..I try to not mess with those because they are your intonation points. Most times the truss rod is all you need to jack with.

This guitar is another story..No strings for mounths, neck been removed 2 times, and I have NO idea yet if the intonation is set. I dont have the right size strings on it either, but matters little because it will take about a month for the neck to "settle" back in.

Super low action SUCKS! Because you get crappy tone and less sustain and you wont play as good, only faster. I keep it as low as i can, but still get TONE, sustain and little buzz..ALL guitars buzz somewhere, even if its slight.

Thats one of the things i like about the KENT..its not low action AT ALL, but plays Great, and sounds AWESOME. The lotus action is alot lower..But its a HEAVY metal guitar so thats OK....Heavy gain covers alot of stuff up. And you get sustain from the gain. And you play Metal faster then mellow music.

I got it set pretty good now, but can tell in time it will get MUCH better..GREAT guitar.

BTW..Pickup is AWESOME...made in USA, by hand. High output SCREAMS!

Anyway...That some stuff i do.

Some people adjust the nut-slot-depth..I NEVER do that..EVER! Only if its pinching the strings, but i just go wider with the slot, NOT deeper. I will just get another nut if its a prob. I take the old with me it size up the new one..

VERY Simple on that one Peter..I just used some stickers i had.

A good way to do a logo is to put stickers on, then spray-paint over the area, then remove the stickers. What ever is under the paint will be the logo. Looks good. But stickers i like because they can be removed.
