DEMO - Korg AX3000G Demo 002 by globaltrancemission
Demo number 2 of the Korg AX3000G with the Fender Jaguar. Again this is straight out of the Korg and into the mixer and no processing has been done and nothing added.
This one features the modulation effects and how they integrate with the delays.
First settings are BOUTIQUE CLEAN AMP - HALL REVERB and the guitar is all using the neck pickup.
0.00 to 0.36 Classic Chorus - no Delay
0.36 to 1.26 Classic Chorus + 2 Tap Delay
1.26 to 2.26 Multi Tap Chorus - no delay
2.26 to 3.23 Multi Tap Chorus + 2 Tap Delay
3.23 to 4.12 Classic Flanger - no delay
4.12 to 5.13 Classic Flanger - 2 Tap Delay
5.13 to 6.06 Duo Phaser ( 2 Phasers) - no delay
6.06 to 7.12 Duo Phaser - 2 Tap Delay
7.12 to 7.20 Tremolo - no delay
7.20 to 7.38 Tremelo - 2 Tap Delay
7.38 to 8.02 Rotary Speaker - no delay
8.02 to 8.35 Rotary Speaker - 2 Tap Delay
8.35 Change to METAL Overdrive on AMP setting
8.35 to 9.31 Bi Chorus ( Twin Chorus) - no delay
9.31 to End Bi Chorus - Analog Delay
This Demo is really to show the Modulation FX with or without delay but there are more variations of Delay to be covered.
The AMP settings have been tweaked to suit my guitar but the other FX have not been tweaked which leaves plenty of scope for variations as they all have settings like Speed and Depth and Reso that can be changed.
With this Demo you can get an idea of how this unit sounds without any in depth tweaking as I recorded all this in one take just switching settings as I went....very quick and very nice.

Re: DEMO - Korg AX3000G Modulations and Delays
WOW that first sound is WONDERFUL PETER! Very nice man!
I dont feel, (from what im hearing) you will need to do anything other than put the tracks down. Dont see any other processing needed..So this is good.
I ALLWAY "print" FX because they make me play how i do. I find its not needed to do any further proscessing on guitars. This unit sounds SUPER!
Great combo, this guitar and the clean sounds. These are BARE guitar sounds and they sound wonderful. In a mix of music, will sound FAB!
Im getting excited to hear some tunes. I feel this is giving you "time" with the guitar. And that you put it in your music alot more now. I heard that in the track you did for me. Its great to hear peter because im a "guitar" guy....You play so good man. Its hard to play without a backing, and you do it SO good.
FAB SOUNDS MY FRIEND, FAB..
I am going to have to spend some time with my new guitar like you are with your new FX. And iv been away from heavy music awhile, so, yes...Excited for us both. New things are coming. And if its just me and you, im fine with that and happy enuff with it.
NICE PETER! NICE! Really love these tones. Warm, and RICH! Most cool.
Dirty tone sound great also. Refined sound, like that. NOT over saturated. Very nice.
Mixed with your Rich synth sounds, Big Drums....WOW! gona be something BIG! Excited bro!
I would like to Sing on one of your tunes. As a collab. But i just want to do vocals. You get to it, i would LOVE the chance. You know my vocal style, so you know what kind of track to give me. Keep me in mind...It would be very cool for me to get to do that. You could also prob further refine my take by processing and mastering it. Now that i got a few great mic's, should sound real good with some claning up done. And you could mix it back into your track..

Re: DEMO - Korg AX3000G Modulations and Delays
Thanks again DACE.
There's more to come soon....Amps and Cabinets and more Delays and another on the weirder FX to be found.
Will be doing these soon.....and even then it is only scratching the surface ...but at least these demos show some of the capabilities.
A review of the Korg pointed out that the sounds on it have a great mid range presence which many other FX units do not have. The mid range is what cuts through best in a live situation as a lot of bass and treble get lost in a live mix. This is what makes a guitar stand out more in a band mix. So its a really good live tool as well as for Studio use.
A lot of the warmth I think is also coming from my guitar......the well seasoned high quality wood and the vintage pick ups are giving it a superb unique tone which need a unit like the Korg to deliver it.
Playing without backing.....been practising like that for years and its how I learned to develop the fingering techniques that I use. Mostly learned from listening to great Blues and Rock artists over the years and gradually developing my own style.
DACE......I would love to do a collab with you.....need to put a few tracks together first though to develop some of this....but I think we should do some collabs in the future...more than one if it works out OK

Re: DEMO - Korg AX3000G Modulations and Delays
It sounds FAB Peter..So glad you bought it man! Loving the sounds.
YES, we should do music together. ALL we have is a small group of friends that have an interest in our music. SO, we should just enjoy each other and forget about the rest of them. Im just super happy to have the friends i HAVE. Lets just enjoy each other as we are. What eles matters? nothing to me. We are really like a "band", so we should just do music together all we can.
Thanks so much for the friendship, interest, and sharing Peter. means EVERYTHING to me. Im greatful for this time we have to spend together.

Super cool with that DACE......enjoying making the music is the really fun part for me too.
We could swap instrumentation on different tracks.....some shared guitar....some where I do synths and you do guitars....some vocals and some instrumental.....maybe even I might add some vocoder robot voices !!!!!
If we get some tracks made as a project I could do a website later .....all tracks free to DL and share not to sell as this is mainly for enjoyment
Just ideas....but perfectly possible if it works out....we might make a good team
I wish Z was joining in these threads....he is missing out IMO.
Re: DEMO - Korg AX3000G Modulations and Delays
Yes...
Z....Well theres alot to that. Yes he is busy, but thats not the only reason he is not around much. Its rather deep...I know Z has good as he knows me. He will be back around when he "needs" to be. Really this has been going on a few years with Z. He will find his way back soon. At least i know FOR SURE Z will never blow us off, as so many have in the past. It comes down to what Z needs. When he needs to be here HE WILL be... I know he misses it.

Totally understood DACE....we all have personal issues that take priority from time to time ....its just something that I wasn't aware of.
