Well I blew a tube recording this.
But I'm back in action.

Rhythm Guitar is the Ibanez X through the Line6 cranked.
Lead is the Telecaster through the Marshall with brand new Mesa/Boogie tubes in it.

A little fast and raw -- like me.

Holy crap thats a great tone on the guitars! MAN!...LOVE the X tone! And ofcoures thats my fave lead sound you use. SUPER great drum-work Z! we need a drumming like that!...

I was wrong on one thing, I was thinking, Ok, its been awhile so it will take Z a few tunes to get back tight and sounding his best..NOPE! Very suprised how great this sound being you have been out of the recording loop for awhile. Impressive return bro!!! VERY NICE Z!

The Mix is just Super, and the tones and playing are great, and awesome job on the vocals and there fit in the mix. Its just real good bro!

The drums are a bunch of kind of Brazilian loops.
Vocals kind of made up on the spot and then repeated.
I ran the X through the 6 set to JCM-2000 mode with the gain high and chorused it WIDE (no verb or anything else).

Glad you like the mix. I wasn't quite sure.

Really digging how these new tubes break up. Harmonics are easier now.
The tubes I took out were the stock Marshalls, so the original owner never replaced them.
The speaker is some sort of Celestion GOLD 16 ohm.

I just commented on the one you did [with the mic Rick sent you] on Facebook. WOW! Your vocals are amazing in that.
I'll work my way down all the new tunes I missed this weekend.

It is tight with great sounding guitar tones and the drums are just so right for this track.

Vocals are nice and clear and sit well in the mix.

Its fast....its raw....it rocks.

Even before I was recording guitars and using all synths I was still picking up a guitar and playing a bit most days..... not just to keep my hand in....but because it is like a form of meditating.

It really does soothe the mind and take you into the flow. I think its because its a physical instrument that co-ordinates with the mind

Yes agree....Im very calm while i play, but im finding of late when i get done, im just DRAINED, wore out...Even if its just an hour. It strange. Kinda worries me. Never had that before. In the past it gave me energy afterwards. Its been buging me pretty bad. I got some heath probs going on, SO???? dont know whats up with that.

Hmm. I've had that before sometimes too. Not sure what it means.
