OK...I have 2 Albums coming out soon. SO, i think im going to do some Collabs.

Frist up is one with my old-friend KJP from the first mixposure-site. We did a few back in tha day.

This is the track im going to work with. Wanted to put it up so you will be able to here both before and after.

I will making this VERY BIG! Some drums, guitars, bass, vocals, and making it longer also, about 6mins. Looking forward to the project. Lots to add here.

I also played the original / full version on KJP's page but I am sure that your version will transform it into a new creation that will outshine the original.

KJP has heard my Track Opening The Cosmic Gate and wrote this on my wall at Mixposure

I have just been listening to Opening The Cosmic Gate...and now I'm into Dark Moon Rising...blimey, I think Tangerine Dream have some really serious competition in you...this track is TRULY Cosmic; can I ask, what equipment did use to get all of these effects?
You must surely have been signed up by a record company, because if I owned a large label, I would snap you up in an instant without hesitation...no bs.
This is my type of music...amazing work! best I've heard of its type on Mix...just imagine this material at Glastonbury...mind-blowing...I will def-init-ely be returning for another fix of Global Transmission.
You must be very proud of your creations...you have certainly brightened up my day!

Peter..YES...Ken is from the old-mix..He is kinda shy...I tried to get him to the Anubes, and asked him here a few days ago. I like Ken alot. He would be awesome in our little group if we could get him here. Maybe you invite him also. Remind him its the same forum i invited him to.

You guys should hit it off, and Steve. Fits right in with us here, but we got to drag him in.

Steve..I have known Ken for like 5 years. I have heard TONs of his music. Its been a few years since he has been active. It so great he is back around. We did some collabs years ago.

Be VERY cool if you also invited him here. Just PM him at MIX stating i posted about the collab and that i invited him here, and ask him to come on in. Love to have him here with us.

OK...1st of my new set of collabs. (Rain Play (Another World) Ken John Parsons-Fungus). http://www2.mixposure.com/DACE/song_focus_21819.php Ken is an old friend of mine from the old-mix-site. Known each other about 5 years and have done music together in the past. Ken go's by (ZEROKNOW1NOTHINGNESS)http://www2.mixposure.com/ZEROKNOW1NOTHINGNESS/ here at MIX. I was a FAN the very first listen years ago. So i knew to add anything to his music would change it into something other than what he does. That told me to run with it and make my own. That i did. I put his track in and wrote it in longer, in stereo, then put it in again centered and moved it around in spots. I added Bass,Clean Guitar (2),Dirty guitar,3 drum samples,3 FX loops, and added a Mantra to fill it out. I also added font/type to his songart. I would like to thank Ken for letting me play around with his Artful sounds. Im overjoyed to get work with this kind of artist and person. THANK YOU KEN! Get over and join the FOS forum

"Seems like I'm the first to review this intriguing track. Fantastic collab between Dace and KJP.
The KJP track sets up the ambience and dace literally takes us into Another World as he chants the mantra throughout.
This is a world of chiming and gently swirling guitars interspersed with compelling leads.
The drums are just right too....nicely chilled with the shaker giving an ethnic otherworldly feel.
This is a track to chill out to....a track that takes you on a journey into a mystic world of dreams.

Thank you for the review. There wont be many on it there. We are not the "popular" ones there, so it wont get much from them as far as words. But i DO get alot of plays. But those come from other sites i post on like facebook, and here.

But I do Music for the same reason we all do. So words are just extra. They mean alot to me. So, thanks.

Just listened to Ken's version on Mixposure (which I'll have to login to to review in a bit) but wow, it goes beyond even the high expectation I had for a collab between one of my favorite ambient composers and one of my favorite guitar hero/genius type peoples.... Epic

I listened also to the version on Dace' s page and love the difference. Dace's mix has an element of danger and tension which is very appealing to my scorpio nature as well. Love them both and especially the subtle differences. I could hear them going end to end like two movements of a symphony in which the finale is left to the listener to create in their mind. Excellent!
