Yet another snow storm
The last snow storm was about 17 to 20 inches. It broke our Vikings Stadium (it has kind of a teflon bubble
for a roof).
Now, the Vikings have to play outdoors at the University of Minnesota Stadium. By game time it should be about
10 degrees (F) and there should be 4 to 8 inches of new snow on the ground.
It will probably take me 2 hours to drive home (on an easy day it takes 20 minutes).
There is NO DOUBT we are having a White Christmas. We will probably have 3 to 4 feet of snow on the ground
by friday.
Oh fun!

Most of Devon had it really bad today....it was on the news.
We also saw the footage a few days ago of the Vikings stadium.
We have missed the snow for the past 2 or 3 days in my part of Norfolk but there is still snow and ice on the ground and temperatures have been below freezing all day.
I have a 2 foot icicle in front of my kitchen window......Cooooooool !!!!!

I saw the local news too Peter. We got away lightly! 10 miles inland and the roads to Exeter were blocked!
Dartmoor looked real nice covered in snow this morning (You can see the moors from the Torquay ring road which I use every morning to get to work)

Re: Yet another snow storm
One nice thing is that around here we are totally prepared for snow.
There's something like 3 or 400 snowplows on the highways.
It's a real pain in the ass to park on side roads and get home when it's snowing,
but as long as the snow stops, and the plows have a good 6 to 12 hours to plow,
you can get around (getting out of your own driveway and onto a main road is the hardest part).
