It's Dead Jim

Well, like Dace I'm having truck trouble.

The '96 Chevy Blazer--which has been NOTHING but trouble since we got it--finally died.
It's worth about 2,000 and it will cost more than that to fix the latest transmission problem
(and this is already the second transmission).

I swear I've replaced everything except the PAINT on that shitty vehicle.

So, not only do I need to buy another truck in the next couple of days (there is no way we can
get by with one vehicle), it's going to SNOW 12 to 16 inches tonight. And the temps will be in the below 20 range
for the next week.

This year just keeps getting more expensive.

Replacement will probably be a Ford, or maybe a Toyota or Hyundai.

I'm not buying Dodge or GM anymore.

Thats bad enough.....how about this then

Petrol in the UK has now hit £1.2176 per litre which is £5.54 per gallon or 8.7525 $ per gallon !!!!!

Still another rise coming in January (taxman) to £1.24 per litre £5.642 per gallon or 8.91399 $ per gallon.

OUCH !!!!!!!!

Of course things over there are closer together... but STILL!!!

Bummer!! If I was getting a truck it would have to be the Toyota. They're indestructable!!! Top Gear (a UK TV motoring show) tried to break one and failed!

Ha Ha.....Things are closer together..........like the nose to tail traffic......you can use a gallon just going across town !!!!!!
England is a seriously congested country.

I hear that!
It's bad here when it's snowing. And busy at rush hour (which is most of the day).

I just meant geographically. I think Minnesota alone is something like 600 miles tall by 300 miles wide.
