?CAN after 30 years, I PLAY guitar!?, And make geart music!..YES!!!

Take it from me, this is some real good guitar playing...UNreal for me listening.

THE 30 year plan
THE 30 year plan by FUNGUS/DACE

Bass- Did that first with the drums. FXs on Bass track. (played straight thru)
Guitar-#1- Clean-comp-lead.
Guitar-#2- Clean-cords Delay/Revrb
Guitar-#3- Dirty lead lines, susained notes.
Guitar-#4- Dirty susained cords, notes.

Guitars 1, 2, have tone setting shifts.
Guitar 4 low in mix, supporting low and heavy vibe.

All this covering the drums alot to keep it guitar vibey.
Theres 5 drum loops here.
Improv'd the mixing...Like it tho. The mix is super.

Great advice from someone who REALLY knows how to do it!

I'm recharging my guitar skills--by NOT playing right now.
I'm building up something deep. And when I let it out, it's going to be sweet.
I need to get strings for my 12-string too...
All part of the plan.

Listening now...

the long sustaining notes blend well with the bursts of flash.
surrounded by huge tone.
the dynamics are huge, like waves in the ocean
I love the mix too!

3rd time through. The low-mixed guitar does add a lot of depth to the sound.
wide and deep.

I like that you are using more drum loops in this. adds more variety to play over.

Best track I've heard from you yet DACE and I hope that there are many more to come.
I know that you are concentrating on your vocals and songs a lot of the time now but this track shows that your guitars sing out beautifully when you decide to go instrumental.

The bass lines fit right into the picture to give that added depth and the guitars are just superb with those tone shifts creating added colour to the lead lines in a very professional way.

The mix is very good too....everything stands out nice and clear and balanced.

If this is the 30 year plan then it is a very good plan indeed.

I can hear lots of your guitar influences in there .....some Beck and Hendrix.....but this really just shouts out....."Hey Man.....This is DACE and I've come to blow you away !!!!!!!!!!!!"
