I buried a Jackson in the Desert

I will try to tell the short version of the story.

One of my friends in College, broke the window of a Guitar store in Albuquerque
and stole a few Jackson guitars during some sort of drunken rampage. They found
him and arrested him, but didn't find all the guitars.

His girlfriend came to my house and begged me to go to her house (probably being
watched by the police) and take a red top-of-the-line Jackson out of a hiding place and
make it disappear.

So, I snuck in, at 2am, and got it. Then I took it a mile or two from town (Socorro, NM)
wrapped in trash bags and inside a gear bag, with the strings loosened, and buried it on
the desert. I marked the spot with some rocks.

Well, I forgot all about it until a year later when his girlfriend needed it back for a plea
bargain at the trial.

Needless to say, it took me a while to find it and dig it back up. But when I did it was
just fine. No damage.

I guess that makes me an accessory to a felony....
