Got any parts?

I have 4 guitars and one bass, none make a sound...lololol....If you have any parts, send them my way please.

Im building :
1- Rhoads-V-Bass, from the ground up. I built this body.
2-Lotus (1987) metal-strat-rod. (highend-build).
3-Kent (mid-80s) classic-strat-copy. Wonderful guitar here!
4-Squire-25th ann-strat... (punk guitar) covered with punk-band stickers of bands i have seen live.
5- "Castle" guitar. (brenda drew on this 15 years ago). Time to get it done now. It was a band guitar at one point in Texas.

Z, if you still have the ESP parts, send them. would be great on the V-bass.

(Mid-80s Kent-Strat-copy) LOVE this guitar, it draws me in. Something about it. The color is WONDERFULL!!! Got this for $20.00.... I have been finding a few guitars for 20 bucks of late...Found Mike a Ibanez for $25.00
This one wont take much to get playing.

(Z, you might remember a V hanging OUTSIDE the studio by the front door)?? SAME one in the pic.. I cut it to a Rhoads shape and skined over it.. Will be my Bass.

I have some more clear coats to do on it, but its looking good.
This was built 8 years ago for Cara. Hung outside 3 years...lolol...SO, the wood is VERY cured..lololol...Fun building this so far.

This is a 1987 Lotus Metal-strat-copy...There highend guitar. VERY NICE one it is. Awesome neck!!! Will be my dropC Metal guitar. (Another $20.00 find)..



This is the "Castel" guitar..Brenda did this years ago! Its been together a few times over the years..Need to get it going again, and PLAY the shit out of it!!!

OK..heres my "Baby"...Now that my main interest is singing, i need a PA...I found this 1977 Peavey PA cab for $45.00! I CAN NOT but into words how GREAT it sounds! Just AWESOME! So vintage in look and sound..We are in love with each other..I smile at it, it smiles back..LOVE THIS THING!!!! Even smell "right"...Im lucky yo get it.
I have a pole-mount i made for a smaller PA speaker that go's on this..have pic somewhere..The 2 togther make an awesome sound..All i need is some for the studio to sing thru, so i got that perfect with these.
This Cab, the RAT Z sent me, and my IBANEZ S are my FAVE gear things iv ever owned!

Cool Rick...Well, you can see what all im dealing with here...The RED strat i can handle. It just need a slide-in tpye Nut, and rewired, so im good on that one.

Let me see, all together i need,
3 sets of 6-in-a-line tuning-keys.
3 hum-pups.
2-22 fret Necks.
1-Strat-style pickgaurd.
HELL, a bunch of stuff...lolol...I can use what i get somewhere at this point.
As long as i can get them playing, im happy.

Prob go all NEW parts on the Black-Lotus, it so nice i should go all out. The rest are whatever builds.

Those bodys look great! And REALLY NICE work on that V body.
(I remember it hanging outside the door. In fact I'm sure I have video of it )

Cool rick, thanks....Soory to hear the bad news... We get old and fall apart.....I not feeling very strong of late, kind weak and no energy...But i put alot on myself the last few months. Im just glad to still be alive i guess. Hows ya wife and your place doing?

I forgot i need 2 bridges (strat-style) also...Or anything.

Was cleaning on the Copper/Red Strat today...I noted some cool things about it. For one its 21 fret, not 22....And the neck is one piece, not a fretboard glued onto it. Its has the old sloted type nut. Really is a very nice copy of the old-strats.

Im going to take it into the shop to have it wired-up right, and have all new pots, and jack, switch put in it. And setup right. (A-440) guitar.

Its a very good vintage-build, and the wood is over 25 years old, so it should be a great sounding guitar.

The Black Lotus/strat im gona buy all new parts for and put it together. (DropC) MetalMonster.

Hope to make a few extra $ this weekend and get the V cleared and the same with Castle guitar. Thats under 10$ , so yes.

Im enjoying working on guitars again. Did that for years when i was younger....I have to take more time now and not get in a rush and frustrated...Kinda Zen-out with the work, nice and slow, no hurry. FUN stuff for me. I think my music will be better also.

Anyway..boring , i know...But its music stuff...thats my love.

Done it my whole life Steve..Like it as much or more than doing music. If i had a job and some cash flow i would have 100s of them around..I have a nak for finding guitars very cheap. Holds me bake being broke all the time. If i could find, buy the parts right then, i could do good selling them also. But would rather keep them really. I get them done slowly, or they get sold before im done. I enjoy this stuff so much.
Matter of fact, im fixing to clean on a guitar neck tonight. I have some friends around here that are the same....We talk on the phone all the time about new finds and whats in the pawn shops. Z is a great builder also, as Rick is also. Rick can build a guitar! me and Z are hacks...lololol.... Im not great with wiring and stuff, but can do it, just dont like that part of it. Most times i get that done at the shop. (need to just send that to Z to do). Im good with necks, and bridges, setups, cleaning, re-painting and stuff like that. Its a sickness for sure.. like music..and Art..lol..

Hi...Been working on the V-BASS...or ZDRV (Z-Dace-Rhoads-V)..
Z sent the old ESP bass parts to me. (you might remember the redo of Zs ESP Bass he did? posted at the Anubes).
ANYWAY!
I have the pickup sunk into the body. (just going one pup, one Vol.)
Have all the holes drilled, ground under-bridge, pickup, jack, Vol, ect.

Next up is some more clearing-sanding.....

I will need to wait on mounting the bridge untill i find a neck. So to line it up right and get the scale-lenght right. But, its coming alone.
(got a line on a few necks).

Should have the RED strat back from the shop soon.

I will post some pics some time.
