50 worst songs
I gotta disagree with "The End" being on the list, but I pretty much agree with the rest.
But there really should be some Neil Diamond on there somewhere....

There is a lot of crap in that top 50!! Some of it I actually like! (NO I ain't tellin' which ones) LOL
Re: 50 worst songs
Yes it's nearly all crap but why waste time writing this crap???
I can think of far worse songs that should have been added....the UK charts has had some awful stuff over the years that you may not have ever heard in the USA.....and you can count yourselves lucky.
I can't abide Neil Diamond either as a singer but he should have a little credit as a songwriter. He did write one or two good ones for the Monkees .....he wrote nearly all of their songs and some of them were catchy pop classics.

Totally agree Peter.
There is a lot of competition for the bottom 50.
Most of the songs that should be there most people haven't even heard (or maybe heard once).
I mostly make fun of Neil Diamond because, when I was growing up, all my Mormon cousins
were TOTALLY into him.
He's not a bad songwriter--or even singer for that matter. Just too much of a "Lounge Act" for me.

I was overexposed to his music as well. Many years ago I worked in a hifi shop and the manager played Neil Diamond for hours on end every day.
If I never hear Neil Diamond again it will be too soon
