It's been out for nearly a month Z! But due to a monumental F**k up with the distribution of the 2CD format edition, (the one that everybody wants for the live tracks) a lot of fans are still waiting! Me included!!!
From what I've heard though (samples on Amazon) it's a damn good album!

Just got Blood of the Earth in the post.
It's an excellent album! The packaging is first class. The 2CD LTD EDN is a digi-pac which comes in a box with a nice booklet (lyrics/artworks) The discs themselves are black and printed to look like mini vinyl albums!
It was well worth the wait

Nice! Glad to hear it!

I know some people get pissy about who is or isn't in the band,
but Brock is a big influence on me, and he seems to be the one constant.

I will have to pick up a copy....

The current line up is excellent, but I do miss Simon House's violin the most I think. But then the Hawks have evolved again and new guys Mr Dibs and Niall Hone have fitted in fantasticly! (Niall is a damn good songwriter too) Having Tim Blake back on board the Mothership is a musical bonus too!

Cheers Z! Good review. I pretty much agree with the reviewer too, it's a damn good album!
I have the 2CD version. (I always think Hawkwind are better live than in the studio) so the live tracks on CD2 are a real treat!
