Cool looking gadget Z!! Can they handle colour graphics? Might be a good way of getting an art book out there

No color. They are eInk so the display is a lot more like a book (and works great
in full sunlight).
The iPad is color, and would work great for Artwork.

Re: Kindle
Back to the drawing board as they say! LOL
Actually, when I've got Goblins and Galaxies done (3 tracks left to record, when I've written them!) I have an idea for a book on fractal art. There's a site called Blurb.co.uk which helps you make and publish books for a very reasonable price (£6.95 for a 7" x 7" and £10.95 for a 10" x 8" 80 pages)
With the new 3D Mandelbulb fractal software I've got I can produce Hi-Res images very quickly!

i agree...e books are going to take over soon. they save trees and my eyes...well it's allot easyer for this dyslexic girl to read from a screen then a book.

The iPad might work better for you GinN. The eInk display on the kindle is a
lot more like paper (works in direct sunlight, black and white, no flashing cursor).
On the plus side, it has built in text-to-speech, so you can have it read to you.
And you can also change the font size to make it easier to read.

Re: Kindle
anything that isn't a book and on a screen works for me. though i can read mags just fine as they are more random in color and print. i think it might be that i'm looking forward at a larger area and not having to flip pages that really makes the difference. i read so much faster and typing is faster then writting, because i get cramped hands...computers are like my angel... the lady i work for has been working on an ebook too. she's really into fantacy. i'd like to write one sometime too. but more on life etc.
