I bet you know this, but...................
...................If you want to destroy an acoustic guitar just put it up in the attic without first loosening the strings!
Bugger! Bugger! bugger!
My son didn't know this when he put my Daughter's guitar in the attic a couple of years ago! I've just been up there to get a suitcase and found it trashed! The extreme cold this winter had tightened the strings so much that the bridge got ripped right off the soundboard!!
Does anyone know if it could be repaired (like what glue should I use) as it would be a shame to just to throw it out. It only cost £8 at a boot sale, but I doubt I'll ever find one that cheap again!
