I WAS THERE AT THE END

I just left the Anubes for the last time. It's official... it's gone Nigel, Rick K. Zest and I were there as the countdown played out. Steve Miller's "Fly Like An Eagle" was playing. Many memories.

Yes, we watched as time keeps on slippin' into the future.....I posted the Steve Miller Band video on auto play of Fly Like An Eagle...I thought it was a most poignant song for the moment.

Many memories indeed my friend......

This era has ended, and, a new one has begun....the cycle continues.....

Im a bridge bruner from WAY back...So i understand i guess. WE "people/Man/humans" make the SAME mistakes over and over. As i am now speaking my mind about something i cared about.

I cant find it in my heart to give a shit! No matter how hard i try, its never good enuff, it never works out right, it dies off. EVERY TIME! Life is JUST that is it not???

Its ALL in my songs...but its tricky to read/hear/undestand...I MADE it that way.

SAD?? MAD??, Nope! NOT ME!....I did my part. I did good, more than any, both good and bad it seems.

I would NEVER type my feelings 100% about this. I would NOT be right, it is TO much for people to handle.

I cant do anything for anyone. THEY have to do for themself. Im a caring loving person that would do allmost anything my friends ask me to.

But, as I say..................TRUTH!...It sucks most times.

I do NOT look to be easy on people with the TRUTH....And it all go's for me as well.
Im an ASS in that way. I will beat myself and everyone eles to death with the truth untill i no longer live on this earth. GOD said to, I am.

If someone said.."if you tell the truth, i will kill you", i would be one dead MOFO..

i'll miss anubes too...hopefully everyone will keep in touch here or else where. i was not an original member, but it was a nice place to come to after the original mix went down. but this place can be what we make it... we should do a group shot of all of us!! i'll be getting my new pictures soon : ))

I couldn't have said it better myself.

"It's not the site. The site is just a place. " True because it's about the people who embraced the ideals of the Anubes.

The core of them are currently here and the spirit will remain because these are the same people who made it.

Let's not treat this as "Anubes II" though.......this is a different site with a similar spirit.

This site will develop from the spirit of those who use it and who actually care about what they are doing.

As Dace would say (I think)........those who are true to themselves.

We can all look back on the Anubes with a great pride and respect the memories and now we all must move on as there is building work to be done here and much to be achieved with your help.
