I'm feeling a lot of sadness
About Anubes going away.
it was my sanctuary.
Without mix and anubes I wouldn't be here.
And that's no joke. 2004 to 2006 were so hard
for me.
Never even collaborated with Nigel.
Never felt worthy. Still don't.

Yeah Z,
It was a great place to be. Even when I had nothing to post or say, I was there reading what everyone was up to. I shall miss that, but here I may get some of that back. Thanks for having this place to come to.

No problem Kevin. It will be nice if we get some participation here from former Mixers and Anubes.
All things must pass -- as they say.

Hi Z and all,
Yes, 'tis true, our hearts are saddened by this dissolving of the Anubes forums. Yet, it is also a chance at a new beginning where more people may join through our various communities.
Nigel is a friend to all. His compassion and community spirit with stay with us all as we venture out to other places.
I was invited to join the Anubes by Nigel from the original Mix. He provided a place of friendship and communication for us all. Now it is our turn to host Nigel if he will have us. Things have changed a lot since I started meeting all of you in late 2004. But the one constant has always been that we share a common bond of friendship. Whether near or far, the kindling of our friendships may seem a glimmer in the distance, but, when you approach closer, you will actually see our personal bonfires and heated passion for each other and our artistry combined into the hearth of love and friendship.
As the universe pulses, so too do we carry on with the love of our community and esteemed friend Mr. Nigel Potter.
Peace, love and respect to all,
Zest

In reality...it has been hitting me harder and harder lately.....ya....very sad.....about Anubes and Nigel, and the community we shared.....I still visit the old forums and have a peek around....maybe best if I stop doing that...conjures up a lot of emotion....especially when I see Leo's postings.......

I feel adrift myself. Haven't felt much like playing guitar, so I'm doing some
fiction writing.
Leo? Do I know him by another name?
I miss a lot of people from those days.
And Dace is broke and offline which doesn't help...

Hi Z,
Ya, I believe a lot of us are feeling this way.....lost.....
I'm still promoting music and wanting to complete the 4 videos left for the Mantra of Peace compilation.....I will get to those and hopefully complete them before this year is over....
Leo, is, Leonardo Taglialavore....the person that brought together many artists from across the world..via Anubes to produce, Why Can't There Be Peace? The first song in the Mantra of Peace compilation. Leo's invite is in the Anubes forums from 2006. Sadly, Leo passed away a few years ago However the genius of his music and community spirit live on.
Sorry to hear about Dace. Hopefully he and all are well in any case.
Keep strong brother Z! We can be the energizers of our own fortunes now.....
Peace, love and respect,
Zest
Re: I'm feeling a lot of sadness
Dace ain't gonna let something like: broke, fresh out
of amps, guitars, and food stop him.
He will land on his feet.
Sorry to hear about Leo. I don't think
I ever had the pleasure of meeting him.
His music lives on... Yes!!!!
