Prayers for Ed

I just heard on facebook that Ed Drury has had a heart attack and is going to have surgery.
Just dropping by to let you all know and please keep Ed in your thoughts and prayers.

I will post more details as I get them.

UPDATE:

Hi everyone, Lisa here - Ed's surgery went well; his surgeon said it was routine - and we both agreed that routine and boring for surgery is certainly exciting. I got to stay w/ him afterwards, they are keeping him well sedated. His heart rhythm is stable and some fluctuations in blood pressure, but to be expected - he is responding to the medication they are giving him for that. The staff is got to know his sense of humor and I will be glad when he gets to share that again. He is getting excellent care and everyone has be efficient, kind and on our side.
Thank you so much for all of your kind words; it means so much to me and will to Ed when he gets to hear about them.
I will keep you posted. Thanks again - your prayers are helping!!!

hi Z...wow, thanks for letting us know about this! please send ED my well wishes too! glad to hear that he's doing alright, after all of that. I hope he feels better and gets back to himself soon!!

Thanks guys. You knew I wouldn't leave ya'll right? I'm doing really good, I was very lucky. Okay, I could have been luckier and not have done any of this. But for having three clogged arteries in my heart I'm pretty much skated through it. Thanks for all your kindness, I could feel it all the way out here on the west coast of the US. I really could

Thanks Ginger! I'm still taking inventory of how many brain cells I still have after all the drugs and stuff. I see the post from those first couple of weeks after surgery and I'm a little incoherent. Grateful, but incoherent. Good to hear from you all again!
