Yes, again
Another flash fiction contest. This time I think I wrote a better short. I already had two votes this morning before I even started my whoring round which is a first. But these things are more popularity contests than true ones. If it were judged by a group of writers or critics it might have more credibility. Still, it would be nice to win one, lol. Here's the link to the voting page:

Re: Yes, again
Thanks for you votes, guys. Yes, the subject of the connection between an organ donor and recipient is almost cliche in movies and television, so much so I'm surprised no one else went there in this contest. Still, I think the subject still spooks and intrigues people enough that it is always a popular theme. Yes, I am for now in the lead, but it's early.

Re: Yes, again
Thanks Jennifer, Surprisingly I am in the hunt on the second day. Voting is open until 5pm PDT. Only one vote per IP address sadly :-) I haven't used my vote yet. I'm waiting till the last minute to decide who is worthy. I actually think the current leader (not me) is not the best. The best is well down the pack. If I have no chance I'll vote for my favorite who looks at the moment to have no chance. If I can throw it into a tie by voting for myself however, I may just vote to do that.
Re: Yes, again
Week 21 already? Here is the voting link. It's a fish story haha

haha fish stories...
i left a vote for you, ed! it was a cute story! i saw my first bald eagle in the wild two summers ago, on ken lake. they are making a come back there, and even here in illinois. i seen them last year where we were fishing too. they do love to be by the water. i saw maybe a hawk or osprey catch a fish on the lake and it was the most amazing thing. it was a huge fish. amazing how presise they are at swooping down at just the right moment. here's a pic i took...they looked like they were talking : )) . http://members.soundclick.com/shareImg/574662

Thanks GinjaBug, great photo of the eagle. Yes, they have become quite common sites here. Always great to see them. For most of my life, Eagles were a very rare thing to see. Now I expect them on every hiking trip I take.
