Hi Z I wish I could contribute on this but I really have not got a clue. However, not meaning to distract from your laudable proposal I am going to propose a different discussion triggered by that interesting history of Ed. I would like to know about your (meaning everyone here) musical history and will kick off by telling you a snippet of mine with more to follow so as to try to keep it going. I think I will call it 'What I did when I was younger and stupider'
