Looks like they stoped making the (Flextone) line? there not listed on the web-page-site. They have the new HD amps out, and the Bogner-spiders. The Spiders are there best selling and the on Spider IVs now.

SO, FOR NOW, looks like Flextone-Flextone-IIs & IIIs...Smile I like that. Would make them collectable...I feel the First Spiders are because there the only ones with the RED-face on them. (Had the 1-12) wish i still did, was LOUD and great sounding. And its there ONLY 50 watt amp.

The RED is leaving also...ONLY the POD is red now...Sad Sad, but cool.
Zs Flextone-III is Blackface, Spiders Smoke-gray.

The AX was there very first Amp...and the AX2!

LOVE bogner stuff but it SO high, but line6 Bog's are not that high. I would grab one used because there TUBE! and Bogs...Smile

You are really going to like that long-board with the AMP.
I just have the short-board which doesn't have quite as much in the way of presets.

Not sure which AMP emulations come with that one.
Did you find the manual online yet?

I use "Line6 Insane" "Line6 Fuzz" "Double Verb" "JS-800" "JCM-2000" and "Treadplate" a lot.
SO many combinations it's a TWEAKERS DREAM.

Yep, got the manual..Smile

Its WILD!

Dont know that i "need" all that crap tho..Might sell it, get the footswitch and some other gear i need. Its worth some bucks, so??? i dont use many sounds live, so the footswitch would do me fine. And i could get some cash out of it. But for now im playing around with it..Smile

Looking At Line6 new amps it looks like the vetta-line is looking more and more like a Flextone-line...In looks that is. Vetta is 1500 bucks, but there built like the flextones in "look" now. The Flextone were ther "mid-range" priced amps.

And that that not listing (Flextone) in there list of Amp-lines as of right now.
Heres what im talking about (look-wise)
FLEXTONE thoughts Line6_10

When they went from 11's to Flextone111's they changed the faceplate to black with white knobs...Zs is like this. And the made the front-board at the top of the Cab bigger with the 111s. And the new vetta up there looks like that.
Heres a 111 like Zs, but this is a 1-12, Zs is 2-12.
FLEXTONE thoughts Ccdqb210

What im gathering IS..they stoped the Flextone line and put the Vetta in that type box-cab. The (spired) is there "baby" ...Thats where there money comes from. Vettas TO HIGH! They have some NEW Amps out right now, ill post them later.

Heres the VERY First Spider line made.
(1-12-50watt)

Here is a Bogner-tube-spider. Prob the best (spider) made yet!
This is a 1-12-40watt tube.

I've been using a Pod for the last 11 years and a Flextone II for the last 8 and I wouldn't want anything else right now (and I had Marshall stacks for 20 years before that!!)

The only thing I'd say though is the presets are pretty naff, but if you play around with it you can get some amazing sounds...

Very true. I have a Flextone III.

Not sure what presets you have on yours Dace, but try some of them DIMED (bass, treble, and mid all up to 10).
There are some WICKED tones in there. And, of course, mid-scoop for some cool crunchy metal rhythm.

Hi Paul.....good to see you here again Smile

I have just bought a Korg AX3000G Toneworks for guitar as my old Digitech pedal was sounding dated and not giving me a good tone. These are a big board....a bit like the pod Live....with lots of modelling and effects onboard.....some unique like a Step Sequencer.

I find that all presets in these kind of units should really only be treated as templates to work with as each guitar sounds different and each player is looking for something specific. I immediately set about making my own sounds as soon as I get a new box of tricks. I guess that comes from being used to synths......programming FX is easy compared to working with some synths Smile

Happy New Year Smile

Z...im starting to like the 111s now that read up on them more. But i like the 1-12 the best as far as Looks go. Im sure 2-12 is best for stereo FX, but i like momo amp sounds, so, i wanting a 111 also, but a 1-12. Its all the speaker opps im interested in the most.

Now look...Gabby has a AX2 he will sell me for 100. And i want the first spider like i once had, there not much online.

Very easy, in time, i could have all the first Line6 amps. And with what i paid for my flextone, and the deal from Gabby, i would not have but what ONE cost new in like 4 amps. I wont pay more than a 100 for an old spider.

A- AX2-Flextone-Spider-FT-111, all diferent in sound really.
The AX2 is one the best METAL amps iv ever used. Its just LOUD, and ALL GUT!
Not that high-gain up load really..GUTT!!!! Awesome METAL BAND AMP!
We used Gabbies live a few times..WOW of a sound.
Like your 111, live, that thing KIILED my rig! And it was my MARSHALL-AND-The FENDER-cyberdelux hooked together..Your amp KILLED mine! Very good amp you have in that one.

Yeah, I hear you about the 111. Traded in a bunch of gear to get that.
But I agree you don't need 2x12 or stereo. It's cool for live chorusing and univibe for sure,
but for recording direct I almost always just record one channel. Then I add Stereo FX later on the computer.
That way if I need to modify the chorus settings afterwards I can (if you use the FX in the amp, you can't remove them later).

Sounds like you have a great plan going!
The old 6s are really sweet too. They all have a different EDGE to them.
