uhhh...should i be conserned about this?

i was googling my artist name and i found a girl that used a few of my songs in her make-up toutorial videos on youtube. i actually felt flattered by this, naturally... she linked my soundclick site on her discription, which is fine with me. so, i was curious if there were anymore. so i surched youtube and found someone using my artist name making goofy videos...they spelled ginnger differently. but used "ginnger sparklezzz" in full and this is what he calls himself. i kind of feel offended, because i think they are mocking both me plus the girl that made those toutorials, and the stuff on his profile is a offencive aswell. i don't know how to feel about it...they are young and just being goofy, but at the same time, i'd like my artist name to not be used by someone else. but they spelled ginnger "gingah", but pronouce it the same. and i don't know about copy write...i don't want to sound like i'd be over reacting, but it's just out of concern and confussion...??? maybe i should just forget it...i wouldn't do anything about it, i'd just rather them use a different name(due to the offencive stuff in his/their profile).

I watched the video and found it pretty much 12 y/o girlie stuff and actually I would take it as a compliment. Really, I think it's just a couple of kids having a bit of fun doing their version of an SNL skit. Ok, a perfume out of your own sweat is a little gross, but some of the lines are actually kind of clever. If I were you, I'd figure out how to get a comment to these girls and tell them you thought they are cute and clever maybe offer to give them a track or something. I'd wager they would freek over that. I don't get the sense they are hating on you, at least from that video. I'd take the high ground at the same time letting them know you are a real person and aware of what they are doing. The're just kids. Anyway, that's my two cents.

okay...i think i was just weirded out. some of the stuff in their profile, is weird. i don't care, but it's if they go viral(which some of these do), everyone knows my artist name. that's all i was really wondering about. oh wellz...yeah, i used to do mock radio shows like that when i was a kid, with my cousins. i still have them on casset tape. : )) i don't have any kids(not yet anyway), so i'm just trying to remember what i was like at that age. it's been so long...i'm nearly 30.

I tell you, girls that age are completely silly. In a couple of years though they'll be all goth and too cool for youtube.
