It was too boring to just talk and demo the pickups, so I did an instrumental instead.

rhythm track is both pickups on.

left channel is the Dimebucker (bridge -- brighter sound) -- except at the end I think I switched sides...

right channel is the Invader (neck -- warmer thicker)

all tracks recorded through the Marshall/OD2 with the gain on 2 Cool

tuned to C# (C# F# B E G# C#)

hit some wrong notes and the new strings aren't quite done stretching, but you can hear the different tones....

Great tones Z Smile

Especially that new pickup...nice and warm and a creamy sound which still has clarity..no muddiness.

The 2 work well together also for the power chords.

O YES! Sound is very good Z!
Clear and full.

I guess "gain on 2" is to better hear the tone???
Maybe i need to pull some gain out of my tone? I allways have it on 10! Laughing

Enjoyed Z..thank you.

Thanks Peter and Dace.
Yeah, I like the new pickup. The two work well together.

The Dimebucker is almost like a single coil in its brightness which is why I usually run high-gain
or a bit of fuzz with it.

All my guitars are pretty close to setup now.... Very Happy
just need to double-check intonation and action and such to dial them in.

Thanks Steve. I was just going to play a little and talk ("this is the neck pickup...") but that just seemed
lame. More fun to do it this way.

Of course in a real song I would use different amp settings and/or amps and FX, but since I was showing off the
pickups I wanted to leave the rest the same, so the only FX I really used was reverb.

The Dimebucker shines with some fuzz or higher gain settings. It sounds a little thin in this piece.

Really liking the Invader, and how they both sound together.
