Made For You (Vintage DF from 2005)

I think this sounds a little like Syd Barrett.
Mostly acoustic guitar and 12-string.

Wrote this for the wife a long time ago.
Her comment: "Is this about murder / suicide?"

It was the beginning of me writing love songs in minor keys...

I wasn't much of a singer back then, but the heart and soul is there:

Thanks so much for bringing it back.....it really does have that Syd Barrett vibe to it.....and I don't say that lightly because I'm a huge fan of Pink Floyd in the Barrett years.

Only difference perhaps is that Barrett's lyrics would have been much more insane as he was usually away on acid !!!!!

Vocally its still you though.....just singing a slightly different style.

The 12 string sounds beautiful.

This is a pure classic track.....kind of blew me away

loaned it to me and refuses to take it back.


Yeah, I love some of Syd's lyrics a lot. He was WAY out there, but had a nice relaxed vibe going.

60's Psychedelia.............I was there man.....I was 16 in 1967 and this was the music that stirred my creative imagination and opened up my mind.

There is a distinct difference between American and English Psychedelia from those times although I really love both and I have lots of obscure tracks on vinyl.

Just as a real treat here is a track that I regard as a true underrated classic of English Psychedelic music circa 1967......it has several WTF moments !!!!!!!
