Making some progress again.... hope to have the middle of the floor
clear in a couple of days.

Main problem is finding places to put all the stuff that was on shelves on the wall.

I think I am going to concentrate on setting it up as more of a live jam / video shoot space
to start with.

Might throw down a rug in the middle and hang some tapestries on the wall. Egyptian if I can get 'em.

Pictures soon.....

Very cool. Nice dreamy vibe. Peaceful.

Great music Ed and Dace!

This makes me feel calm... rare.

Vocals sound a little like Tom Waits, which is great. Cool

Was recording with the Marshall last night and I blew a tube in the dirty section (that's what she said). Cool
I think it's just a pre-amp tube since the clean section still cranks.

Working on a dirty song called TUBETOP

I am SO FAR behind on listening to tracks by you and Peter.... hope to catch up this weekend.

Heres what I say on the tubes...Go to the shop you posted the Vid of and buy ALL new matched-sets of tubes for the MARSHALL.....Then you have extras, and i SURE the amp will sound 100% better. Get the best tubes they got! A Re-tube is well worth it for that Amp. And you got a good enuff deal to do that.
Prob be allmost 200 bucks, but you be very happy with it.
The prob have the best-tube-tech there one could ask for, so it might be a good idea to let them install and bias the amp. From the Amps i see in there shop, they would get the Amp "right&tight", they know these things in the dark.
You could do this, as i could, but think about it......You want the "best", get the best to do it...This is why i took my Strat to Bighams Music instead of doing it myself.
Also, if you have any probs with the new tubes, they will fix it for free im sure.
Spec this Amp out....And it will sound awesome! you WILL hear the difference!!
You could very easy put what you paid for it (into) it. New Tubes, and a 200.00 HIGH GRADE speaker! These could be done one at a time.
You would endup with 10times the Amp, and extra/backups for everything.

Or..you could just stick a tube in.... Laughing You get out, what you put in.

Good advice!
I have some matched Ruby Tubes already, but I'm not sure if they are the right kind.
I like Sovtek tubes for some reason. Those Russians make some kick-ass tubes.
I will def. take it to them--or this other guy I know that builds his own tube amps--to get it biased.

I think the speaker is already a good one, but I will check. I don't use the speaker much since I record late at night.

O yes, the speaker is fine, but you know what im saying. Its factory-stock stuff.
You pay 200.00 for a speaker you will see why..Smile
All this is not anything you "need"...But then again, you would get more out of it than you might think.
"Its ALL in the mind".....You do all that, then when your play thru it you pay attention better, you play better, your in a zone because you alot into what your play thru.
I think you know what i mean?

Like this...My Strat..I play it SO well becauase i "think" its So great. Its just a cheap 80s copy. But thats NOT what it "gives" me. I think WAY more of it, it gives me that back. My old S was like that also for years. Its is worth like 450.00, but was worth 4000 to me. That guitars magic wore off over time for me. Now i have that back agian in my Strat..Smile To tell the truth, i dont think ill get the S back, Phillip loves it, and it his guitar really now, so i think its his turn to have it.

O! im a few weeks away from having my LOTUS Metal-Strat all done and ripping..Smile
Found what i needed on Ebay, wait for paypal to clear for me..Smile
SOON! This Strat is SO killer! HIGH end build on this Charvell-copy.
Wait till you hold this LOTUS in your hands, you can FEEL its greatness.
Its the same with the KENT but a different vibe. One classic, one METAL!
Both "give" me ALOT..Both cost me 20 bucks to get..

I have 95.00 in the KENT.
I will have 80.00 in the LOTUS.

Im a keyboard, and a few amps away from being very happy with my gear. Very Happy
Music is Kinda waiting on that to happen. THEN i will figg-out my next move music-wise.

I got a bit fed up doing tracks for release at the moment so I am doing these jams and demos.

They help me to get ideas to use further up the line and have really put my guitars back in the picture.....my synths are gathering dust now !!!!!!

I am enjoying pushing the Jaguar and I am getting tones and sounds out that I didn't know it was capable of.
Most people think of the Jaguar as a surf guitar but really it sits somewhere between a Strat and a Tele.
It can be thicker than a Strat and it can also bite like a Tele depending how you use it. It also has great chiming qualities for ambient....particularly when using modulation FX and delays and reverbs on a clean setting.

So demos coming soon and I will keep working on the sounds with the Korg.
